Learn to drive with Juliet Davey Driving

If you're 17 or older and have a provisional driving licence, you can learn to drive. In addition, you'll need to be able to read a number plate at 20 metres (you can wear glasses or contacts).

Juliet will teach you all the practical aspects of driving, such as control and use of the vehicle, including steering, gears and applying the brakes. She will also teach you the importance of diligence, focus and patience, so you will be able to respect the rules of the road and other drivers.

You'll practise together until you are competent to drive and ready for your practical test. If you need any help with your driving theory test, we can also help you prepare for this.

Driving lesson duration

Our driving lessons can last for 1.5 or 2 hours, depending on your preferences. Please pay for your lessons 48 hours in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the time of the lesson. Failure to do this may result in the lesson being charged for.

Pass Plus

Pass Plus training can take at least six hours and is aimed at helping you to improve your driving skills so you become a better and safer driver. We can teach you everything you need to know.

Motorway driving

Driving on the motorway can be rather daunting to some drivers, including those who have experience in normal driving conditions. We can provide you with special lessons to prepare you for motorway driving, so you have the confidence to drive anywhere in the UK.
